Poetry Manuscripts
I offer feedback on poetry and hybrid manuscripts of any length.
This includes a 1hr consultation call, a written feedback letter, and optional feedback on individual poems.

Individual Coaching
I offer flexible, one-on-one sessions to help you achieve your writing goals.
People often use this time to:
- receive feedback on individual poems
- talk through publication options
- discuss their work broadly (themes, patterns, etc.)
- discuss their writing process

Group Workshops
I offer group poetry workshops remotely and in-person.
These workshops involve generative writing prompts and discussion with a group.
These are customized according to theme, number of participants, participant experience, frequency, etc.
Examples of past workshop formats include:
Adults: Weekly Zoom workshop for 3-8 adults, various levels of experience. Runs 6-12 weeks.
Children: Weekly in-person workshop for middle school students, culminating in a student anthology.
Single Workshop: One-time workshop themed around a specific topic.
Clubs: Monthly eekly workshop at retirement homes, book clubs, etc.

MFA Portfolios
I offer holistic feedback on poetry and nonfiction portfolios for MFA applications,
relying on my knowledge of MFA admission processes to comment on organization, composition, individual poems, etc.
Applicants I’ve worked with have been accepted by and recieved funding from Cornell, NYU, University of Michigan,
Vanderbilt, Syracuse, and UT Austin (NWP), amongst others.

Application Essays
I review Statement of Purpose and Personal Statement essays for social science, humanities, and arts programs (MA, MFA, MBA, and PhD).
I typically offer feedback on subject matter, organization, tone, and cutting or expanding, in addition to any specific concerns you have.
price per essay:
$120 – <1000 words
$150 – 1000-1500 words
$175 – 1500-2000 words
Application essay services are free for residents of regions affected by extreme violence, such as Palestine, Iran, Sudan, Myanmar, Haiti, Ukraine, etc.

what to expect
Consultations that involve written feedback (essays, portfolios, manuscripts) may go something like this:
1. You send me your work, along with questions and concerns.
2. I read through the text on my own time and send you written feedback.
3. We discuss your work together over Zoom. I will talk through my edits and answer any questions you have,
including those about publication, graduate programs, etc.
Prior to working together, we can figure out if I’m the best writing guide for you.
If I know someone better suited for your project, I can refer you to a trusted writer-friend.
